TRT is prescribed to treat low testosterone levels. Lifestyle factors, aging and certain medical conditions can affect the production of testosterone in males over the age of 30. Clients who test low for testosterone can have a full therapy guide sent to their doorstep.
This will depend on your hormone deficiency, goals, and health, the medication can be injected as little as once every two weeks or as much as three times a week. You and the doctor will discuss the best course of action per your lab work.
As an extremely well-tolerated hormone for most men, the side effects of Testosterone are fairly easy to control. As for the side effects themselves, there is a risk of aromatize activity; aromatization referring to the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. As estrogen levels rise, this can lead to gyno (male breast enlargement) and excess water retention. Untreated water retention can lead to an increase in blood pressure. In order to combat such effects, especially gyno, patients are put on an estrogen control treatment like anastrozole (Arimidex).
We offer specialty treatments based on what the dr deems fit for you. Treatments range from topical creams, oral therapies and or injections.
